Cooperation with Gate Retail On-board: airport transfer tickets sold on Wizz Air flights

 

After the introduction of airport transfer sales on Ryanair flights at the end of 2014, our company group came to an agreement with one of the biggest on-board solution providers – Gate Retail On-board – and Wizz Air to sell airport transfer tickets on the airline’s flights.

The new sales channel was opened for Wizz Air’s passengers on 1st June.

This step not only provides Wizz Air with a new source of ancillary revenue at given destinations, but also has a positive impact on the level of customer experience. The products were created in such a way as to enable the airline’s passengers easily to select and buy the service on-board, and by the time they land the vehicle is already awaiting them to provide a seamless trip from the airport to the city.

This is another step our company group has made to expand its portfolio of services, and there are many more to come in 2016.
